Hi Zsofi, I want to let you know that your work has made an impact in my journaling practice. The way how you guide just clicks with me and it has helped me unblock decades of not being able to draw people.
Like other commentors below, I too want to buy you a coffee! ☕ Thank you Zsofi.
This is such a warm comment 🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭. The way u said, I want to buy u a coffee😭. So sweet. I just discovered Zsofi and hit that subscribe button even before I scrolled through her posts and reached this comment . As an educator, artist and writer I have lost that zest for sketching for fun. Despite being a published urban sketcher , I no longer indulge in creative play and I think Zsofi, you are going to change that for me. I’ll report back with a refreshed sketchbook soon! Thanks for doing what you do Zsofi✨
Haha, yes, I agree about the potatoes. I wanted to post my very first drawing because when I look at it, I feel like it totally sucks. But I think that the reason we get good at something (or at least relatively good) is that we enjoy doing it so we spend more time practicing and then as then by putting in the hours we just get better and better. So if you enjoy drawing in your journal, I say go for it!
Many thanks for your wonderful little people and faces. I really like the style. And it encourages me to look at your little instructions and learn from them. I'm going to start a diary after I've been using sketchnotes to note down sermons and talks for a while now.
Thank you Zsofi! I’ve been wanting to draw a character of our 2 year old granddaughter and this is wonderful. So generous of you to share your expertise
Thank you so much Megan! Drawing cute things is just so comforting. :) I love your style too, super nice colors, blue, yellow, orange, those are my favourites too
Thank you, I have exactly this internal struggle with sketching people, so this is great advice. And reassuring that I’m not the only one who struggles.
I'm glad it's useful. I think we all struggle, with everything basically. But if any of it were easy, maybe we wouldn't feel the accomplishment afterwards? Anyway, keep going with the drawings!

I'm looking forward to seeing your work!
i often covet other people’s illustrated diaries, and I want to be good at it - but I suck! 😂🤷🏼♂️
This is a big help - and people as potatoes is a great metaphor for life! 🤔

I’m so glad. Drawing in my diary is one of the highlights of my week, and starting a new one is always exciting!
I like this tutorial. Simple, easy, and fun to do. Thank you!
Thanks Justin, good luck with it!
Amazing explanation! Simple as promised but very effective. Thank you!
Thanks a lot Francesca!
it always starts with an egg...!
This made me giggle and makes me want to include people in my journal. Yay!
Hahaha, I’m so glad!
Thank you for this. What pens do you use? The colors are amazing and truly adds a finished touch.
The orange is Stabilo 68 and the black is Neuland FineOne Outliner. I really like them both, very intense colors!

Thanks Bernie that’s very kind but I don’t have that set up.
